Prayer for April 6, 2022

A little more than 22 years ago I became father to two pretty incredible young ladies. Their mother and I could never have imagined how proud we could become today when we look now at who they are now. They are so perfectly expressed today as who they are. Thank you God for somehow giving us the right words and other responses to bring them to who they are today. Parenting is something for which no one is truly ready, and we are thankful that you somehow guided us in how we were a part of forming them to be so much more than we could have asked or imagined. May each parent know that no one is a perfect parent, and that the only thing they can do is love them as fully as one can and know that even in our poor decisions that our love for them shines through. Amen.
