Prayer for April 14, 2022

You instruct us to be servants if we are to truly follow you, loving Jesus. May we recognize the wonder of seeing your creation from our knees and looking up into the eyes of those we serve. Help us to see what intimacy exists when we are willing to lift up others and treat them as beloved. Give us an awareness and understanding that comes from seeing the world from a place we don’t often find ourselves. May we see our journey as one along side of others rather than some race that we must win. Again, O God, help us to be the servants you would have us be. Guide us this and every day. Amen
