Prayer for April 16, 2022

As we move toward our celebration of this years Easter, may we be aware O God of Peace, that there are people in the world who are not celebrating and are at war. Wondering whether they will make it to tomorrow. May we know that this time has so many people living in a hell that we are unable to fathom. Let us be the beacon of peace and light in this world that seems to be trying to destroy itself. Let the love to which you call us overwhelm all the hatred that is trying to win. May your Spirit fill us and empower us to do your will this and every day. Amen
