Prayer for April 23, 2022

There are days, O God, when I am called to celebrate more than one life event in our church’s life. Today I will honor the life of an incredible educator who has a history with all of our historic schools, and the marriage of an amazing young couple, one of which attended one of those schools. Help me to honor the gift I have been given to be a part of the most deeply moving part of people’s lives. Allow me to be who you would have me be for people each and everyday. Amen
