Prayer for May 4, 2022

Help us to respond with action to those we meet along the way who are hungry, who are poor, who are sick and who are strangers, Loving God. May we work hard to recognize when our society acts in ways that are in contrast to your call and speak with loud voices for those who either have no voice, or are not heard. Give us the grace to do this in a way that builds up rather than tears down. May we have a clear vision of what you would have us do in those times and the will to accomplish the change to which you call us. Help us to know what we are to do in spirit in response to what many attempt to do by using your name. May you guide us this and every day. Amen
