Prayer for May 13, 2022

May this Friday be special, O God. We are a superstitious people who worry often and think certain numbers hold some power. May this day prove to be filled with blessings and wonder. Let us take this day and build upon the work that we have done this week and celebrate what lies ahead. Give us an awareness of the possibilities that exist and the strength of character to accomplish them. May we build up those around us and encourage them to the greater works that you and we know them capable. At the end of today may we look back on it and know that we did more than we can ask or imagine. Amen
