Prayer for June 15, 2022

Help us to to remember those who were and are the foundation of who we are, O God. May we celebrate those who are no longer with us, yet without their presence in our lives when they were we would find ourselves incomplete. Let us build upon the gifts and lessons we have received from our parents, teachers, mentors, coaches and friends. Help us to celebrate and show their importance in our lives by our actions and how we lift others up the way they did for us. May we show the love, patience, compassion and grace that was given us as we faced challenges along the way and become those people to the next generation. All this we ask in your Most Holy Name. Amen
