Prayer for Juuly 10, 2022

Thank you Empowering Jesus for the ministry to which you have called the people of Saint Thaddeus and for the opportunity to journey with them for the past thirteen years. I am grateful for the many people who have been a part of my time as rector of such an incredible place. We have laughed, cried, celebrated and mourned over these past several years and have been blessed by the incredible passion of the people who minister each and everyday in their own way. I am most excited by how many people I have been blessed to know and count as friends and chosen family. May this parish continue to be filled with such incredibly passionate people who are called to love and serve the local community, and the wider world. May the blessings of these past few years continue as they journey with the next person called to be rector of Saint Thaddeus. Guide the leaders of this church during this transition and beyond as they enjoy the blessings of being in witnesses of you, O God, and to worship and serve this community. All this we ask in the name of God the Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier. Amen
