Prayer for July 12, 2022

We are so blessed to live in the day and age we do, and yet so many of us don’t take the time to cherish the many gifts you have given us, O God. It is easy for us to be distracted by all the myriad flashy tings that happen around us and the people with great skills of charisma who truly enjoy making us miss the important things. May we use this day to be focused on those we encounter. Let us go out of our way to make their day. Help us to let others feel ours and your love, O God. May we have the grace to know when we need to simply be present to those around us and that is enough. May what possessions we have be more than enough and may we be willing to share with those in need those things they need more than we. All this we ask in your most Holy Name. Amen.
