Prayer for August 3, 2022

May your presence be felt by those who are struggling today, O God. Let them know that they are not alone by how the people with whom they interact treat them. May the community of faith be so apparent to them that they move from fear and anxiety to a better place. Help those who don’t know where to look to find that place where they can be comforted. Allow us to be aware of those we encounter who need us to be your minister this and everyday. You have given us many gifts that can be the right thing for someone at the time when they most meet it. May we know when those times come and respond with the loving care that you have empowered us to give. Amen
