Prayer for August 20, 2022

May we take the time to fully listen to those we are with today, O God. Help us not to formulate our answer until they have finished speaking. Let us build upon the ideas of those around us and seek to support the passions and dreams of those we meet this and everyday. Help us to become companions on the way as we journey with various people for short and long times knowing that our time with them is equipping us for the ministries to which you are calling us. Let us be grateful for every moment we live and excited about the opportunities that are in front of us. Give us your grace and patience when we need it and your blessings this and everyday. Amen.
