Prayer for October 18, 2022

Thank you God for the little things. So often I find myself so focused on some big event or goal that I miss out on the amazing gifts that I receive along the way. May I see those things more clearly as I walk the path before me. Let me be more acutely aware of the moment so that I do not miss the glory of the world around me. Help me to see the beauty of your creation in places where that I heretofore have not noticed. Give my imagination a boost by what I experience as I live this and everyday. May I share my excitement about what I am experiencing with others and join in their as they share what gives them joy. May I be guided by you now and always. Amen
