Prayer for October 30, 2022

So often, God, we do not feel worthy of your forgiveness and only want a glimpse of you or your spirit. We would climb a tree just to know you are there, yet you not only see us, you call us out and invite us to make the rest of our lives a journey with you. May we recognize that and be excited about the banquet you are inviting us to prepare to show the world your love. May we know that the only thing that separates us from you and your saving grace is our own anxieties and fears of not being worthy. Allow us to live knowing you have already forgiven us for our shortfalls and you only want us to be in covenant with you. May your spirit fill us and guide us this and every day. Amen
