Prayer for January 31, 2023

Almighty and everliving God, guide us this day as we attempt to do your will. Let us see you in the eyes and souls of the people we encounter today. Help us to listen for you in those silent times and even more so when the world seems chaotically loud. May we recognize that our path will have many forks in the road that will affect us in untold ways. Empower us, O God, when we are in our deepest valleys so that we have the strength and courage to travel on running the race that is before us. Give us confidence in our faith, comfort in our times of need and forgiveness when we fail. All this we ask in the name of the God who creates, sanctifies and redeems. Amen
