Many of us are wounded or scarred in some way, Healing God. May we seek to find ways to be healed from those things that can be healed and restored to whatever new reality we may face. If we were wounded by someone else, help us to forgive them as a part of our restoration to wholeness. If we are carrying scars of a medical nature, may we see those scars as badges of our survival. Empower those who help us in our wounded-ness. Give them the healing hands and words we need to help us become who we are to become. May the doctors, nurses, counselors and caregivers feel your spirit guiding them as they heal us. May we feel your presence now and always. Amen
