Prayer for March 16, 2023

May we take the time to watch the world around us today, O God. There are so many great things happening around us that we are missing. May we set down our devices long enough to see the beauty around us. Help us to pay attention to the people we meet, and give them the time and energy we expect of them. Let us listen to others more completely than we often do and not begin our response before they are done with their statement. Give us the patience needed to allow the glorious to happen. Let us live today and all our lives treating it as a precious gift. Amen
