The past few days have been a whirlwind, O God, and I have been praying via my actions and not putting them down in words. Help us when we get into those times where it feels like we are going from one thing to another so rapidly to find a couple minutes to slow down and reflect on what is happening. I am grateful for all the many people who have made this week special and know that this weekend is going to be full of many exciting things that will also keep me very busy during waking hours. May I get back to the patterns of my life quickly. Help me to ask for help and be accepting of it when it is offered. Be with those who are also struggling with being unable to do everything we desire and help us to release those things that can be jettisoned. All this we ask in the name of the God who calls us to rest and reflect. Amen.
