Each new day and each new encounter is a fresh start to our lives, O God. Help us to not be weighed down by past failures and memories and instead to look at what is before us as an opportunity to learn something new, know someone new or better and seek to find joy and happiness. Let us see the people we are just meeting as future chosen family. May we look to the challenges that we will face today and everyday as a chance to experience something new and wonderful even if, at the time, it feels scary and uncomfortable. Lastly, help us to feel your Spirit as it guides us along the path that is before us. Amen.
