Prayer for August 8, 2025

May the world find a way to stop the wars around the world that have become intractable, O God.  There are leaders that need to change their hearts and not enough willing to stand up for peace.  May the people who are in danger of starvation become the priority.  May the hostages in Gaza be released and may we find a way to create a Palestinian state that is not in constant conflict with Israel.  May the people of Ukraine be safe from Russian bombing.  Help us to find peace in all the regions of the world that are at war right now and learn to love one another as you love us, O God.  Amen
