Prayer for January 1, 2026

The New Year often has people resolve to do something to change their lives, Creator God.  Often they are lofty goals that may or may not be met.  Oddly enough, the goals found in your primary commandments are challenging enough. So it is my intentions, with your help to attempt to live them out this year, Loving God.  May I show my love for you in my actions and thoughts. Let me love you with all my heart, soul, body and mind.  May I also treat everyone I encounter with the love, respect and dignity to which you call us.  Let me treat them as beloved.  When challenged to live into that intent, help me to find a way forward.  May you mold and guide us now and always. Amen
