Prayer for January 2, 2026

Let this day be filled with wonder, O God.  Help me to look around and see the amazing things around me and celebrate them.  May I see both the beauty of nature and the incredible things that we have built and made.  Let me see the opportunities before me and take them.  Give me the patience to wait and see those things that develop like a sunrise and sunset and not ignore other great things that happen when we simply watch the world do its thing.  Thank you, God, for what you have made and what you have enabled us to create.  Amen
