Prayer for April 22, 2026

Too much of our energy is spent, O God, responding to people or issues that are of low priority to what is most important.  We are distracted by things that are truly meant to stop is from doing your will.  Help us, in those times, to stand up against those that would distract us from a greater direction to follow the path that leads to what you intend us to become.  Give us the strength to stand up to those who attempt to distract us from the path that leads us to what you intend, and hope that they amend their intentions to fit more along what comports with your will.  May we look for you to guide us all as we attempt to do your will.  Amen
