Prayer for April 29, 2026

I began the day, O God, with chapel with our lower school and am always amazed by the inquisitiveness and wonder they have.  The questions they ask and the faith they show is an inspiration to many.  As the day wore on, I got to be with people working hard to make the lives of the students they love have special days.  Later, I celebrated the life of a man I never met with a large group of people who knew him well and got to celebrate and lift him up.  Thank you God for the reality that my life is filled with being with people in their best and worst moments and that I get to witness to your presence among them. May I never lose the incredible feeling I have when I realize that gift.  Amen
