Prayer for May 7, 2026

Our world is filled with conflict and struggles, O God.  At the same time we are able to produce and care for so many more people than ever before.  We throw away, and lay fallow so much that could truly change the lives of those in poverty and starvation.  Help us to change our priorities from warfare and political battles of ostracism and move toward your call to clothe the poor, feed the hungry, heal the sick and all for your name’s sake.  Amen
