Prayer for January 25, 2021

O Lord our God, may we use the gifts you have given us to do your will.  Help us to be good stewards.  May we respond to your call to serve when those opportunities present themselves today and every day.  Give us the discernment to recognize when you have put us in the position to be your presence in the world, and the commitment to respond as you would have us to that moment.  Guide us as we continue the journey you have set before us and help us find ways to express your love to our neighbors.  Help us to comfort those who need comfort and encourage those who are losing hope.  It is is your name we pray.  Amen
