Prayer for March 12, 2021

Amazing God, you give us chances each day to respond in love to the people around us.  Some of them are simple everyday moments that call us to simply be nice and mannerly. Others are much bigger and call us to make sacrifices, or be deeply challenged by the ramifications of our decision to do what you have set before us.  Help us in each of these moments to hear you and be guided by you to do your will.  We know  that our choices often are affected by things beyond our control.  May we accept that reality and know that we are doing our best.  May our love for our neighbor and those close to us  be apparent in how we live our day and our lives.  All this we ask in a God that calls us to love.  Amen
