Prayer for March 26, 2021

O God of all Creation, we thank you for the family you have given us. The family we were born into and those who have become family by our choice.  We are grateful for the times when they were there to lift us up when we fell, challenged us to do better when we were in need of improving or changing direction and loved us unconditionally. Help us to recognize that their lives continue through how we live our lives when they are no longer with us.  Let us use the gifts they shared with us to celebrate all they have done for us.  May we use this day to honor family.  All this we ask in the name of the God who parents us all.  Amen.
