Prayer for April 3, 2021

O Lord our God, on this day each year we find ourselves in that lonely position of not knowing where you are.  It is the day of emptiness. Help us to know that you would never leave us and that you want us to be in relationship with you.  May we take this one day to feel the power of our choice to be away from you and amend our lives so that we can once again be in covenant with you.  Give us the strength of character enough to forgive those who have hurt us and reignite those relationships that were broken enough to heal some of the wounds we feel.  Allow us the grace to forgive deep hurts and use this day to prepare us for the complete forgiveness of Easter.  Amen
