Prayer for April 29, 2021

O Lord our God, you created us with the ability to choose.  Since eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, we seem to struggle in the grey areas.  What seemed absolute at one time in history changes when seen through the lens of time, tradition and asking for guidance from the Holy Spirit as we have learned so much throughout history.  Help us to find our way through these challenging times.  May we be loving in our responses to events and people when we are not sure of the proper answer.  Allow us to put forgiveness ahead of vengeance.  May your Spirit direct us and make us whole.  Amen
