Prayer for May 3, 2021

Each new day, O God, we find ourselves more and more confident that we are moving to the end of this pandemic.  May we not let our guard down too soon and cherish the increasing freedom we feel from the anxieties this past year and a half have given us.  Let us learn from the experiences we have known and honor the sacrifices so many have made to get us to where we are today.  Please remain with those who put themselves in harms way.  May we celebrate the things we have learned about ourselves as our lives have been changed dramatically.  We honor the memory of those we have lost since this pandemic began.  We ask that you help us to share your love and know your presence this day.  Amen
