Prayer for May 14, 2021

O God who created all things, thank you for water.  There is something about looking across water, whether it is a stream, lake or ocean that causes one to be in awe. We are so grateful for what it is like to wake up early and see the day start over water.  The calm we are afforded on those days sets the day for us.  As the day continues we are blessed to see waves crash against the shore and watch the tides move in and out.  When we are most lucky, we see all of the wildlife that make being around water so special.  Thank you for your creation and all that it provides us. May we appreciate the many gifts that your creation has given us. Amen.
