Prayer for May 15, 2021

O Lord who journeys with us, thank you for creating us as creative, imaginative people.  This past year and a half have taken us out of our comfort zone and we have learned many new things about one another and ourselves.  Help us to continue to be willing to make changes that will help other people when the situation calls us to do things differently.  May we measure our actions as to how they protect and build up each other and the world.  Let us be strong in our convictions when they call us to treat our neighbor with the love and compassion to which you call us.  May we be examples to young people in how we respond to challenging times.  And may the peace of God which surpasses understanding guide us now and always.  Amen
