Prayer for May 16, 2021

Loving God, we pray for all who are struggling still.  The small business owners who have struggled to stay afloat this past year and a half.  May they find the lifelines they need and employees ready to grow with them.  For those who are trying to find work, help those who are searching for employees and those looking for jobs find each other.  May we not respond to shortages in ways that make it worse.  Instead let us look to how we can be the port in the storm for what this time seems to be throwing at us.  Allow us to not be anxious when the world seems to want us to be that way.  Give us the patience to wait out the storms that are before us.  And may your blessing, peace and strength guide us now and always. Amen
