Prayer for June 18, 2021

Joyous God, listening to the voices of the children at camp last night reminded me of how exciting it is to be around young people. Help us to keep them dreaming as long as possible.  May we form them in ways that build them up, allow us to show them the power of love and the opportunities that come when we encourage them to greater works than these.  May we remember what it is to look at something new with wonder and anticipation.  May we also continue to look at new adventures with that same spirit.  Guide us and let us know that we are beloved children of God.  All this we ask the the name of the God who creates, redeems and sanctifies.  Amen.
