Prayer for June 19, 2021

O God who calls us to take time for ourselves.  Thank you when we take the opportunity to retreat and get away from the daily challenges of the world, if only for a little while.  Help us to recognize the value of recharging our batteries.  Give the wherewithal to know when we are so tired that we cannot give ourselves in the ways that make us who we are.  Let us find little escapes when we cannot get fully away.  May we also support others who need find those times to get away.  Let us have these times so that when we return to our more normal daily life we are refreshed and ready to meet the world and share the ministries to which you have called us.  All this we ask in the name of you O God.  Amen.
