Prayer for June 20, 2021

O Lord our God, I am struck by how often I am challenged by what life sets before me.  Help me to see when I am called to stand up to what is wrong and support those who are being prophets in our day.  Let me also know and be ready to stand against those who might attempt to use your image to do things you never would condone.  May I use this day and every day to live into who and what you have called me to be. Allow me to expect more of myself than others, living into the knowledge that I know my burdens but not those of those around me.  Let me be more supportive of others in hopes that they will do the same to those around them. Amen
