Prayer for June 22, 2021

O God who puts people in our lives at the right time, thank you.  There are so many mentors for which I am grateful in my life.  From the coaches who made us better and more competitive to the teachers who made reading come to life, we have been formed from the beginning by their passion for others.  As we grew older and began our careers, others helped us by sharing their experience to make us prepared for the challenges that were before us.  Thank you for putting those people in our lives when we most needed them.  May we be mentors to others when they are placed before us.  All this we ask in your name.  Amen.
