Prayer for July 14, 2021

God of Peace, help us as we live in a time where there seems to be anger and anxiety.  May we look for ways to come together with our neighbors and those who live lives in ways that are not the same.  May we learn from the heritage, culture and lives of strangers.  Let us see the beauty of all that the world you created has become and move away from the evil that often rears its ugly head when we don’t attempt to understand and empathize with those who are walking a different path or journey than we are.  Help us to celebrate our difference and see them as the quilt of  your creation.  All this we ask in your name.  Amen
