Today marks Heather’s and my 26th anniversary. I am so fortunate to be married to the love of my life. I have been fortunate to have many people who express unconditional love to those we meet, and I married one of those amazing people.
O God of Love. Thank you for giving us people who love us. As we grew, you allowed us to learn about many facets of love. Infatuation let us experience what attraction meant. It gave us our first chance to love without knowing whether it was reciprocated. It also taught us how to deal with heartbreak when we were not meant to be together. Thank you for allowing us to learn about deeper love. It gave us was the hope to find that love that is beyond what we could ask or imagine. For some of us, we found that incredible gift of being with the person that God intended. Thank you for all that love provides. Amen
