Prayer for July 21, 2021

O God, Creator of all, may we honor your creation this day and every day.  The world you have created provides us with so much and we need to take only what we need and allow for its regenerative abilities to sustain our world. Help us to recognize when our actions create damage that cannot be healed.  May we honor your creation enough not to make extinct those things that help our world continue to be made new.  Let us also look to ways to feed, keep healthy and provide shelter for all in this world.  We know that there are enough resources and that it is only our own choices that keep us from being able to make that happen.  May we celebrate the many gifts you have given us and use them to do your will.  May your peace and love guide us this day and everyday. Amen
