Prayer for August 5, 2021

Compassionate God, help us to love one another and to live lives of service.  May we know that our actions affect others and live in a way that does no harm to your creation.  Allow us to see the beauty in each day and to revel in the wonder of your world.  Give us an awareness of ways in which we can make others lives better and the drive to make that happen.  May we know what it is to give of ourselves fully and the joy that comes from being fully present to the world around us.  Give us the strength of character to admit our faults and take responsibility for our actions.  All this we ask in your most Holy Name.  Amen
