Prayer for August 6, 2021

Healing God, be with all who are in the hospital, headed for surgery and recovering.  May they feel your healing power upon them. Gift those who are called to their care with a presence that comforts, skills to perform what needs to be done and a compassion that helps the patients have little stress.  Let your spirit fill the families and friends of those who are in care comfortable in the knowledge that you are with them through challenging and good times.  May the patients who are anxious be made comfortable by the actions of those they meet today.  Let the doctors, nurses and all who are called to care for us know that we appreciate all they do in this challenging time and in the future.  May your blessing be upon us now and always.
