Prayer for August 7, 2021

O God, help us to be present today.  We need to feel the love and passion of what each day has to offer.  Let us use our gifts and blessings and give them to others.  May we know that who we are make us special only when we use that to your glory.  Allow us to accept our wrongs when they happen, ask for forgiveness,  and give us the willingness to forgive others with that same grace we expect.  May we be as accepting of others  as we hope they are of us.  Let us express the love that we receive unexpectedly be the same we share with those we meet.  May this day be filled with recognition of your blessings and presence.  Amen
