Prayer for August 8, 2021

O God who sees us as we are, help us to see ourselves as you see us.  May our expectations be challenging and realistic. Guide us along the journey we are taking and help us when we are forced to make tough decisions. May we remember the lessons we have learned along the way.  Let us measure our decisions based on whether they serve and love others. Give us the strength to stand up for what is right and true. May others see our character in what we do this day and everyday.  Allow us to see others as you see them and may what we do be a blessing to those we meet today. Amen
