On this day in 1919 my favorite team in American Football was founded.
O Lord our God, we thank you for all the many gifts you have given us. You gave us passion for sports and competition. We thank you for the excitement we feel when watching our favorite athletes and teams. The joy we feel when we play the sports and activities that have developed throughout history are an amazing gift to us. The accomplishment we feel when we succeed and working through the times when we fail allow us to learn so much about ourselves. Thank you for giving us the imagination to create these games and sports. May we honorably live our lives this day and every day. Amen
