Prayer for August 10, 2021

Each day O God you give us a fresh start.  Help us to see today as a new opportunity to become the person you would have us be.  May we use this day to become the more pure person you intend.  Let us treat all with whom we come into contact as beloved.  Give us an awareness of what chances we have to make people’s days and may we take those chances and do more than we can ask or imagine by living as you would have us.  May we see challenges as nothing more than the opportunity to grow.  May this day be the start of something joyous and wonderful.  All this we ask in your name.  Amen
