Prayer for August 27, 2021

Living God, may we complete those tasks that are before us this day and be comfortable in leaving those things we cannot complete today for another day.  May we be ready at the end of this day to release those things that can wait until Monday so that we can use the weekend that is ahead of us to fully recharge ourselves for the week ahead.  May we give our all to this day and help others as they attempt to finish the work that they have, as well. For those for whom this is just another day and their sabbath days come at other times, may they use this day to complete what they may and leave it at the office when they head home. All this we ask in your name.  Amen
