Prayer for August 26, 2021

Patient God, be with us as we continue to be challenged by the pandemic.  Allow us to have empathy for those who are struggling with renewed calls for us to protect one another when it seemed we were moving beyond the threat. May we be willing to make some personal sacrifices in order that we might move quickly to mitigate the threats that still exist. Be with those people who remain on the front line of the fight to spread the COVID virus.  Keep them safe and help them as they work to heal those in their care.  All this we ask in the name of a healing God.  Amen
