Prayer for September 22, 2021

Healing God, there are too many people who are dealing with life threatening illnesses other than COVID that are struggling to get care in the pandemic. May we who have control of our own lives and the opportunity to do something to make things better for those who are already dealing with so much. May we also be willing to sacrifice some of our comfort to make it so that they can safely be treated in the hospitals that once where not overwhelmed. Protect those who are called to care for us both at home and in care facilities.  May they not be overwhelmed by the magnitude of the task that is set before them. May they find respite and support during those times.  Help us all as we struggle and may your blessing be upon us now and always.  Amen
