Prayer for October 3, 2021

Be with those who are enduring the reality of lifelong illness, O God.  May they not be discouraged as they live each day knowing that there is no real cure.  Instead fill them with the understating that there are so many wonderful things that they can do, and that they have so many blessings that the illness cannot touch.  May they be comforted by the love and compassion of their friends and family.  Allow them to feel your presence when they are most hurting and may they find peace with the things they cannot control while celebrating those things they can.  All may your blessing be upon us now and always..  Amen
